For nearly a century, Komatsu America Corp. has earned its rank as one of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of earth-moving equipment, including construction, mining and compact construction equipment. Through its distributor network, Komatsu offers a state-of-the-art parts and service program to support its equipment.
Komatsu turned to Shamrock to help them improve brand control while better serving their distributors throughout the U.S. and Canada—an essential element of their marketing strategy which previously had been under served. To streamline brand marketing, we developed an online company store that houses all Komatsu brand assets including apparel, premium and promotional items, marketing collateral, signage and displays. Our team works directly with Komatsu distributors to ensure they have the brand-compliant materials they need to promote Komatsu in their markets—from approved online branded inventory to specialty-order items such as executive gifts and co-branded collateral and apparel.
An extension of the Komatsu marketing team, Shamrock helps create the brand experience at the annual CONEXPO—North America’s largest construction trade show. Part of Komatsu’s 35,000-sq.-ft. booth includes a pop-up company store, which Shamrock manages, from design and assembly, to merchandising and on-site staffing. Part of Shamrock’s all-encompassing marketing program, we provide Komatsu with the brand consistency they demand, while engaging their distributor network to drive brand reach throughout North America.
