Giving a voice to an iconic institution
Client: ROSE-MARY
Category: CREATIVE / PRINT / PROMO
An agency of the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, Rose-Mary was established in 1922 and today serves as a national model for quality care for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities. The organization caters to children and adults with high needs, providing professional, long-term licensed care for those who require—and thrive—in environments that offer the comfort of structure and consistency.
Rose-Mary turned to Shamrock to update their branding and website, which had lost luster over the years: The logo was outdated, and the website failed to convey the organization’s story, missing the opportunity to connect with families in search of trusted care for their loved ones.
Our team understood that families managing the everyday challenges of caring for their child or adult with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities or behavioral needs have a lot on their plates. When these families need help—like professional resources and medical information—they need to find it quickly and easily. Where Rose-Mary’s current website had fallen short on those deliverables, our goal was to make the new site compelling, engaging and user-friendly.
We started with new messaging and a redesigned logo. A new graphic standards package was created for Rose-Mary, setting the tone for the new website. With direct, thoughtful messaging and bold, engaging graphics, the website now aligns with and reflects Rose-Mary’s mission of serving those in our community who are most vulnerable and empowering them to be the best versions of themselves. With smart navigation and clear calls to action, the intuitive website makes it easy for users to access the information they need.
Simplifying Rose-Mary’s marketing program management, Shamrock also designed and printed Rosemary’s business stationery, including letterhead and business cards, and sources and produces branded apparel for ongoing staff needs.
When Rose-Mary was preparing for their milestone 100th-anniversary celebration, they partnered with Shamrock again to set the stage. We created a modified version of their logo that included a 100-year banner for use throughout the year on all marketing assets and apparel. Shamrock also handled the design, printing and mailing of the anniversary event invitations. A custom QR code was included to connect guests to a landing page we created to streamline the RSVP process. We also designed and produced banners and signage for the anniversary event, as well as T-shirts and umbrellas for attendee gifts.
